I've tried all of those and I wasn't pleasantly surprised, I was resentful that I'd wasted so much time on such a piece of crap. I resolve not to do it any more.

Did I mention the cards look like crap?Friendlesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05302241085168424095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21646725.post-2935802191171413242009-06-04T19:59:36.246+10:002009-06-04T19:59:36.246+10:00So on the one hand there's no interaction and ...So on the one hand there's no interaction and on the other hand there's screwage? And you're basing your decision on this?

I've only played a basic game of it so far, but it seems more like roads and boats-- keeping a complex plan in mind to make the optimum use of production. I would have thought it right up your alley.gregorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11180383799477397590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21646725.post-76410245928749254682009-06-04T19:14:52.841+10:002009-06-04T19:14:52.841+10:00Age of Empires III is not an Ameritrash game. I'm not crazy about it, but it's definitely a euro.Iainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10575449992797491636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21646725.post-34397321073880000172009-06-04T17:01:40.552+10:002009-06-04T17:01:40.552+10:00The people at the bottom of the ratings, especiall...The people at the bottom of the ratings, especially of a game this complex, tend to have a poor understanding of it. Through the Ages is my favorite game of all time, even pushing my prior favorites (Ra and Taj Mahal) down a little bit. I regularly play a 2p game in 2 hours. Yes, your first full learning game will take 5-6. If you get a chance to watch a game in progess, and the players are good enough to explain the actions taking place, you might be pleasantly surprised.ektedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02200891099572736360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21646725.post-35088891056668263402009-06-04T12:09:40.561+10:002009-06-04T12:09:40.561+10:00Don't hold back John, tell us how you really f...Don't hold back John, tell us how you really feel ;-)Stew Woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01659792549784057476noreply@blogger.com
