It's Here! It's Here! (parts 2 and 3 of 6)

Woohoo! Toys! More parcels arrived today - the T-shirts from Meeple People and the parcel from Robbirob containing PitchCar, PitchCar l'Expansion, and Ca$h'n'Gun$. We had another little boy visiting at the time, so we ripped it open and played it immediately. Cool game! The kid is pretty excited...

Apparently milsims have shipped my copy of Frank's Zoo, so perhaps you may be receiving part 4 soonish.

I'm just an excited little schoolsgirl waiting to open the wrapper on my package. Ever played santiago John?

Yes, they told me they'd shipped mine. I haven't played Santiago though it sounds like I might like it. That's the one where you build the irrigation system isn't it?

Yeah, that would be its defining feature. I'd played it a while ago and enjoyed it.

Another game I enjoyed was dos Rios, but as it only handles four I'm steering clear of it. I have enough games that handle a maximum of four. My regular gaming group is mostly 5+.

Are you going to Kev's tomorrow night?

Yes, I'll be at Kev's tonight. I have a couple of games that only take 3 or 4 (Amazonas, Primordial Soup) and it is frustrating trying to find a time to play those. However I have a strong urge to choose games on theme, and if it's a theme I want to play I won't worry too much about the player numbers. Time to play is much more likely to be a killer for me.
